Over the past decade, Hydrogen has gained increasing prominence worldwide as an energy vector, which can be used to contribute towards transition to a ''Net-Zero Carbon Economy’’, showing that it will play an important role in decarbonized energy system. As of October 2023, governments of 40 countries world wide, such as Germany, UK, France, USA and Canada, have had hydrogen strategies in place, detailing the planned investment in production and proposal for hydrogen use that would be a versatile replacement for high-carbon fuels used today. The Turkish Government, having put signature to The Paris Agreement, published its Hydrogen Strategy in 2023, setting deadlines and targets for hydrogen production and polices for setting up Hydrogen Value Chain in Turkey.
Hydrogen is uniquely versatile energy carrier. It can be produced using different energy inputs and different production technologies. It can also be converted to different forms and distributed through different routes and can be used across a range of different applications.
Hydrogena was founded in Istanbul Turkey by a few senior professionals, who spent most of their career in Energy Sector both in Turkey and in the region, to help and assist energy sector players in utilizing opportunities of switching to hydrogen economy.
